The Yurt is a construction that has been developed to perfectly suit the environment of Kazakhstan. The design of the Shushinsk Golf Club House has sought to capture
the essential elements of the and re-express these in contemporary architectural form.

The glazed walls of the Club House are screened by a timber lattice work that takes a diamond shaped trellis pattern. This provides generous views toward the surrounding golf course and landscape while establishing a method to screen incoming daylight and provide privacy to the interior. The structure is conceived to be used through-out the year and is responsive to the dramatic shifts in Kazakhstan’s weather conditions.
